《小职员》月刊是1934-1935年间由小职员编辑撰稿而创造的一个想象的共同体。小职员工作的苦闷本质上来自于内心与现实之间无法弥合的落差，但小职员的业余生活是丰富多样的。面对帝国主义的威压，在中华职业教育社的宣传、共产党的组织和左翼文化的影响下，小职员逐渐将自己的日常生活联结到革命思想上。日常生活是浸润在时代思想中的，以时代思想作为参照系，去观察日常生活世界，能够极大丰富思想史和生活史研究的视野。

The Petty Clerk monthly magazine was an imaginary community created by petty clerk editors during 1934-1935. The sorrow of the work of small staff is essentially from the gap between the inner and the reality, but the small staff’s spare life is rich and diverse. In the face of the pressure of imperialism, under the influence of the propaganda of the China Vocational Education Association, the organization of the Communist Party, and the culture of the Left, the petty clerk gradually connected their daily lives to the revolutionary ideology. Everyday life is infiltrated in the era thought. Taking era thought as a frame of reference and observing the world of daily life can greatly enrich the vision of the intellectual history and the study of life history.
