长江三峡地区文物考古的回顾与展望

三峡地区古文化遗址地点共有 12 82处 ,经对建国以来部分地下古遗址 ,古墓葬发掘资料获知 ,从距今约 2 0 0多万年前的“巫山猿人遗址”开始至是清时代 ,其间各个历史阶段的遗存都有发现。由此可见 ,三峡地区不仅在为研究中国人类起源的历史中占有极为重要的地位 ,同时也表明三峡地区是中华文明重要发祥地之一。

Looking Back and Prospection of the Cutural Relics and Archaeology in Three-gorges Area

Totally there are 1282 ancient cultural si tes in the Three-gorges area. By the eccavation data of ancient sites and ancie n t tombs since 1949, we can find the remains of every period that dated from the Wushan man of over 2 million years ago to Ming and Qing dynasties. There for e the Three-gorges area is a very important place on the studies of Chinese man kinds origin, also it is an important birthplace of Chinese civilization.
