From" Existentialism" to "Vanguard Novels"

Contemporary China's literary acceptance of the Western culture shows that the people in China who experienced the "Great Cultural Revolution" and later on the emancipation of minds share the same feeling with those Westerners who did in the World War II and in the following era of modern science and technology.The shift from "Existentialism" to "Vanguard" reflects Chinese vanguard writers' understanding of the crisis of the modern society and the younger literary generation's thoughts and attitudes.Influenced by existentialism,China vanguard novels bear its identifiable features.
