Structure,Practice and Transformation of Border People’s Business:A Survey of the Correlation between Macro Structure and Micro Action

A diachronic survey of the correlation between macro transition of political opportunity structure and micro development of border people’s business shows that there is a unidirectional relation between the shaping and the shaped. No matter in the periods of planned economy,economic transition or market economy,the historical development and action strategy,commerce practice and transformation of border people’s business are all deeply embedded in the political opportunity structure. Based on political opportunity awareness and business cost assessment,border people believe that collective silence,ambivalence and cross-border action are rational choices.
