随着我国加入WTO,全面建设小康社会,构建终身学习的学习型社会和人才强国战略的提出,我国高校面临新形式和新任务,亦对高校教师素质提出了新要求:高尚的师德,过硬的本领,创新的思维,合作的精神,掌握教育规律.为此,高等学校应从有利于创造性人才培养,有利于教师队伍结构优化,有利于教师全面发展等方面,提高教师素质,加强师德建设,提供培训机会,加强团队建设,改善学缘结构,改革人事制度.

The Strategy of Building Powerful Nation of Talents and Enhancing Higher Institutions Teachers' Comprehensive Ability

With China's entry into WTO and the implementation of the strategy of building a well-off society in an all-round way and cultivating a powerful nation boasting numerous telents and a society where study is a life-long task,China's higher institutions are now faced with new challenges and tasks.Consequently,the teaching staff of higher institutions encounter new requirements which demand that teachers should not only have lofty professional ethics,perfect mastery of knowledge and skill,innovative thoughts and cooperative spirit but know the law of education well. Thus,to facilitate cultivating innovative talents,optimizing teaching staff structure and enhancing teachers' comprehensive ability,measures should be taken to improve teacher's quality and professional ethics,to provide teachers with training opportunities,to better team performance and to start personnel system reform.
