| 摘 要： | 扩展线性支出系统在需求分析中是运用得最为广泛的。人们不仅用该系统进行居民消费结构分析,而且进行消费预测并据此提出有关政策建议。但是,对扩展线性支出系统的实证检验表明,截面数据的扩展线性支出系统不具备预测能力。扩展线性支出系统的真正作用是对已经发生的消费行为进行结构分析。并且,这种事后的结构分析对于消费行为的预测不具有实质性意义。

| Abstract: | Expand Linear Expenditure System(ELES) is a common method in demand analysis.People habitually use ELES to analyze and forecast the structure and change of living expenditure.However,by using the cross-sectional data ELES,the paper proves that the ELES does not have the capability to forecast the living expenditure of households. |
