| Abstract: | Ezra Pound is an outstanding representative of American Imagist Movement in the early twentieth century.His translation of Chinese classics Cathay is well-known all over the world,among which River Merchant's Wife:A Letter by Li Po has been a classic.This paper analyzes Ezra Pound's creative English translation in terms of content,romantic charm,tone,style and image based on its original and translated verses. |
