| Abstract: | Cao Yu's critical reception from the "p sychic drama" of Eugene O'Neill was mainly reflected in the excavation of perso nage's mental world so that his dramatis personas were typically chara cterized by the divisive double disposition. This special reception might have promoted the expression of Chinese stage play literature to the life and p ersonality in depth and be advantage to the modern transformation of Chinese dr ama. |
