| Abstract: | After analyzing the relationship between the version and the original and observing the three steps in the process of translating, the author reaches a conclusion that the aim of translating is to pursue the translated work's being in agreement with the original as an unity of language form and content. Therefore, the author argues that reproduction is the essence of translating. |
