中国学生对中外教师教授英语作文的态度及观念调查

摘    要:对昆明理工大学英语专业三年级一个班的学生进行问卷调查。问题主要涉及学生对写作课教学实践的看法。总的来说,对于中国教师还是外籍教师学生没有明显的偏好。调查发现学生认为中国教师能更好教好写作,因为他们对学生的背景知识、学习上的需要和思维方式更熟悉。学生们认为中国教师更能帮助他们有效准备考试。另一方面,学生们认为外籍教师的课堂气氛优于中国教师。

Abstract:This study reports the results of a questionnaire survey among 25 English majors at Kunming University of Science & Technology,China.Participants were mainly asked about their attitudes towards the teaching practice in English Writing class.Generally speaking,there is no obvious preference to either native-speaking or non-native English speaking teachers.It is found that Chinese teachers were believed to be better able to teach writing because they are more familiar with the students' background knowledge,demands and their "way of thinking".In particular,Chinese teachers are reported to be better able to prepare students for exams.On the other hand,foreign teachers are preferred for classroom climate.
