从公元七世纪初以降,吐蕃先后兼并了分布于青藏高原的羊同、苏毗、吐谷浑等族,与这些民族发生了密切的政治和文化交流.本文引用敦煌、新疆发现的古藏文文献,结合汉文文献,深入地讨论了吐蕃治下的吐谷浑小王和吐谷浑臣僚、民众的情况,力图揭示出吐谷浑被吐蕃征服以及逐步融合的历史真相.
