论李金发诗歌的古典意蕴

李金发是公认的中国象征派诗歌的鼻祖。大多数论者认为 ,李金发的诗“远离了民族的传统而走上了完全欧化的一路” ,却对李诗中俯拾即是的古典意象、古典格调视而不见。其实 ,李金发主观上并不忽视“中国古代诗人之作品” ,而是力主将中西方文化“试为沟通”。他骨子里仍然是一个多愁善感的中国文人。李金发的诗之所以晦涩难懂 ,原因有两个 :一是“食洋不化” ,二是他的“中文”底子并不厚实。

On Li jinfa's poems' classical implication

Li Jinfa is regarded as originator of Chinese symbolic poetry. Many scholars think Li's poems "left Chinese traditions far away behind and were Europeanized", however they paid little attention to classical images and style in Li's poems. Actually Li did not neglect "works of ancient Chinese poets" and advocated "trial exchange" of Chinese and Western cultures. He was a really sentimental man of letters. Bad digestion of Western culture and weak Chinese level are the reasons why his poems are difficult to understand.
