摘    要:介绍了大学英语口语考试的目的、组织形式,以及所要考查的语言交际功能、评分标准,论述了大学英语口语考试的理论框架——交际语言测试理论,分析了我国大学英语口语教学和测试的现状。交际口语测试具有真实性、功能性、交互性、情景性、综合性等特点,其常见模式有双向交互式、多向交互式,常用方法有角色扮演、面谈、讨论等。

Abstract:This paper introduces the purpose, form, scoring method of College English Spoken Test (CET-SET) and the language functions the CET-SET is meant to examine. The paper explores the theoretical framework of communicative testing on which the CET-SET is based. It discusses the current situation of the teaching and testing of spoken English in universities and colleges in China. The author thinks that communicative spoken tests are authentic, functional, interactive, situational and integrative. Communicative spoken tests have two major models: the two-way communication model and the multi-way communication model. The methods often used in communicative spoken tests are role-play, interview, discussion, and so on
