| Abstract: | As a transiting historical link, the epitaphs in Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties are the key phase of ancient Chinese epitaphs in the process of their appearance toward maturity. To date, there are totally 72 epitaphs unearthed of Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties, which contain rich historical and cultural connotation. It has unique theoretical and practical significance to carry out further researches in social sciences, covering history, archeology, cultural relics, language and writing system in the Six Dynasties. |
