Improve Students' Education in New Period by Student-oriented Concept of Scientific Development

With the development of our economy and society, our minds are exerted an imperceptible influence as the reform of higher education. And at the same time, twenty-first centuries challenge the talents with new demands. Under the new circumstance and situation, the demand for talents has witnessed a great change. Meanwhile , these changes pin high demands on modern higher education. In this new period, griping with the new task and situation, the faculty who administrate students ought to open up their minds and be faithful to the fact so as to set up student-oriented concept of scientific development and enrich educational content and working principles. Student-oriented development means putting student as the foundation of college survival, development and reforming force. We should focus our attention on promoting teaching quality so as to grasp student-oriented concept of scientific development, emphasizing students' own will and individuality and clearly understanding the relationship between student-orientation and teacher-mainstay.
