| Abstract: | This article makes an overview of the western theories of banking regulation and analyses the different theoretical perspectives of western banking regulation from the viewpoint of the causes of banking regulation and banking policies. It also gives a comprehensive introduction to and deeper inquiries into the advantages and disadvantages and existing problems of policies for deposit insurance programs, capital requirement, regulatory supervision, and bank closing under market economy conditions. |
