| Abstract: | This work investigates the mechanism of electrochemical oxidation of ICI dye under the electrolysis condition with NaCl and Na 2 SO 4 as supporting electrolyte and concludes that the mechanism of oxidation are virtually the oxidation by perchlorate group. |
