南宁近郊平话方言岛

南宁近郊平话作为一个方言岛,在长期的历史过程中,尽管受到不同语言和方言的包围,在语音和词汇上接受了壮语和粤方言南宁白话的影响,但是凭借着政治、文化等的优势,其音系仍基本保留了原来的面貌,代词、亲属称谓词、人体称谓词等亦显示出其特点。此方言岛的形成不早于唐代且长期作为南宁城区的权威流通语言。其主要成因有二：(1)屯兵;(2)其本身作为一个周边被壮族包围的汉民族岛的存在形式。我们应从历史层次的观点出发,将这一方言点准确定位为中古北方汉语的方言岛。

Pinghua Dialects Island in the Suburbs of Nanning

During its long history of development,Pinghua dialects,embraced by various languages and dialects,has formed a dialect island in suburb of Nanning.It has been influenced by the Zhuang language and the South Cantonese in the sounds and vocabulary;however,due to the political and cultural superiority,the dialect basically remains unchanged in its phonology.The pronouns,the addresses for relatives and body parts,etc all display unique features.This dialect island,formed in around the Tang Dynasty,has been used as the authoritative communication language in the city of Nanning ever since.There are two major causes for this:(1)the station troops;and (2)the dialect itself as an individual form for the Han majority island surrounded by the Zhuang nationality.Based on the views of historical levels,this dialect should be considered one of the dialect islands of the middle Chinese in the north.
