川东教案的运行态势研究

晚清教案四川居多,尤以川东最多最严重.经年累月,间见层出、无处无之、“一夫夜呼,狂走相应”、视生命财产如儿戏、动辄兵戎相见以及“祸局未终,外交已起”,就是川东教案的运行态势.考察川东教案的运行态势——目前还没有人关注这个问题,将使人们对川东教案的全貌,特别是其严重性有进一步的印象.

A Study on the Motion State of Eastern Sichuan Missionary Cases

Most of the late Qing period missionary cases happened in Sichuan Province, especially in Eastern Sichuan. They lasted over the years and occurred everywhere in the country. They were often initiated by individual at first and responded by groups afterwards. People in the cases did not value the property and the life, and arms were frequently resorted to.Often before the cases ended, diplomacy had started. Study on the motion state of Eastern Sichuan missionary cases can give us further impression about the full view of the missionary cases in eastern Sichuan and its severity.
