On the Tempo and the Key-Touching of Prokofiev's Piano Performing Skills: taking his The Seventh Sonata as an example

Sergey Sergeyevich Prokofiev is the world＇s most influential Russian composer, pianist in the pia- no music of the 20th century. The piano sonatas composed by him are regarded as some of those of the highest quality, owing to their grandness, new techniques, and rich content, tIis sonatas are comparatively difficult to play, because of their unique rhythm and key touching skills. This paper, taking his 7he Seventh Sonata as an ex- ample, mainly analyses the effect on piano playing techniques and musical sound caused by the change in differ- ent rhythms and key touching methods, with 14 samples selected from the music.
