| Abstract: | ＂The Confucian Catholics＂, a unique group of Catholics in China which emerged in late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, is the result of the fusion of Christianity and Confucianism. This paper holds that those Confucian Catholics, concluding different themes in rescuing the soul, rescuing the world and the human being, always adhered to the Confucian standard in two aspects of theory and practice. |
