查慎行与《忆鸣诗集》案

《忆鸣诗集》案发于查慎行卒世五十余年后，对清中叶后两浙士风深有影响。慎行牵入诗案的直接原因是为卓长龄《高樟阁集》作序。缘查岐昌所辑《敬业堂文集》流落在外，查氏后人始逃过一劫。诗案发生于浙西，有其历史因素。海宁查氏与塘栖卓氏为世交，查慎行早年从学卓天寅，后与卓长龄及金张等人交笃。明清易代，遗民思潮与江湖士风盛行两浙，造成两浙文化与庙堂专制文化的一种“悖离”，查慎行、卓长龄、金张等人深受沾熏。清廷借《忆鸣诗集》案惩治两浙士子以威劫士气，巩固统治。从这一意义上说，这场文字狱与明史案、汪景祺案、查嗣庭案、吕留良案关系密切。

Zha Shenxing and the Case against Yi Ming Shi Ji

The case against Yi Ming Shi Ji （ The Yi Ming Anthology of Poetry ） , a case brought half a century after the death of Zha Shenxing , had a deep effect on the scholars in Zhejiang Province after the middle of the Qing Dynasty （1644-1911 ） .Shenxing was involved because of his preface to Zhuo Changling ’ s Gao Zhang Ge Ji （ The Gao Zhang Ge Anthology of Poetry） .Thanks to the government authorities ’ ignorance of Jing Ye Tang Wen Ji （ The Jing Ye Tang Anthology） edited by Shenxing ’ s grandson Zha Qichang , the descendants of the Zhas escaped an extermination of the entire family .The case was brought in west Zhejiang for historical reasons：the Zhas in Haining and the Zhuos in Tangqi had cultivated a friendship spanning generations, and Shenxing was a student of Zhuo Tianyin in his early years and a good friend of Zhuo Changling and Jin Zhang later;at that time , Zhejiang was a place where thoughts favoring the past dynasty as well as advocating anarchism were prevalent , which deeply influenced local scholars including Zha Shenxing , Zhuo Changling and Jin Zhang;and the government intended , via the case , to punish some as a warning to the oth-er local scholars, so as to consolidate its ruling in Zhejiang .In this sense, therefore, this case is closely relat-ed to the case of Ming-Dynasty historiography and those against Wang Jingqi , Zha Siting and Lv Liuliang.
