| 摘 要： | 美国西部大开发，是内战后美国政治经济发展的必然趋 势。美国西部大开发实质上是一次领土扩张运动。既具有政治意义，又具有经济意义和思想 意义。它拉动了１９世纪末美国整个经济的发展和繁荣，为美国成长为世界大国奠定了经济基 础。

| Abstract: | The exploitation of the U.S. West was the inevitabl e trend of the American political and economical development after the Civil War .As an impulse of the territorial expansion essentially,it had the political as well as economical and thinking significances,that is to say,it promoted economical development and prosperity of the United States in the latte of 19th centu ry,and established economical foundation for U.S. to become a world power. |
