命题内容成分及其直接值的初步研究

不同文化的言语行为的直接值不同,要准确理解交际对方就要准确掌握交际对方文化的直接值.言语行为是施为用意标记和命题内容的结合体,其直接值也应是二者的结合体.但至今为止,言语行为直接值的研究一直集中在施为用意标记上而忽略了命题内容.命题内容成分应包括目标、动作、听者参与、受益人和方式,它们对构成请求的直接值的重要性不同.

A Tentative Study of the Components of Propositional Content and Its Directness

This paper attempts to investigate the components of the propositional content and demonstrate their different weights contributing to the transparency of a whole speech act whose formula is F(p),which might also determine its level of directness.However,researches on directness of speech acts have been focused on F the illocutionary force of a speech act,and p the propositional content of F is underexamined.The components of the propositional content of a speech act include Object,the Requested Act,Hearer's Involvement,Beneficiary and Means.Understanding the directness of these components will contribute to a better understanding of the directness of speech acts,which will promote cross-cultural communication,as different cultures differ in the level of directness in speech acts.
