智慧、道德与哲学

智慧有如下几个特性:第一,智慧是认识与实践的统一。第二,智慧是真理性认识与价值合理性选择的统一。第三,智慧是普遍性与特殊性的统一。第四、智慧是能力、品质和境界的统一。"道德智慧"的内涵或主要内容可以概括为如下四个方面:人生觉解、价值澄明、知世明伦、修身立命。道德智慧与人生智慧是有密切联系的,但二者也有其范围大小和性质殊异。哲学的本性是"爱智慧",而非仅仅是爱知识。哲学或中国哲学研究应该面向中国人的实践、生活、面向民众,重新回到"爱智慧"的道路上来。

Wisdom,Morality and Philosophy

Wisdom has the following characteristics: Firstly,wisdom is the unity of cognition and practice.Secondly,wisdom is the unity of truthful cognition and rational choice of values.Thirdly,wisdom is the unity of universality and speciality.And fourthly,wisdom is the unity of an individual’s competence,quality and realm.The connotation or main content of "moral wisdom" can be summarized into the following four aspects: awareness and knowledge of human life,clarity of values,understanding of the world and ethics,and cultivation of oneself and control of one’s own destiny.Moral wisdom and life wisdom are closely related to each other.However,they are entirely different in scope and nature.The true nature of philosophy is to "love wisdom",but not just to "love knowledge".Therefore,the research orientation of philosophy in general and Chinese philosophy in particular should focus on the practice of the Chinese people and their everyday life,cater to the common people and return to the road of "loving wisdom".
