摘    要:语言学习即是培养语用能力(pragmatic competence)的过程.大量的研究表明,语用失误(pragmatic failures)是外语学习者在掌握和运用语言的过程中不可避免的现象.文章从四个方面分析了产生语用失误的原因,并认为,影视资料是增强学生语用知识和能力的有效方法之一.

Abstract:It is widely acknowledged that language learning is a process of developing pragmatic competence. Plenty of researches reveal that pragmatic failure is inevitable in both language learning and mastery. This article first analyses the main causes for pragmatic failure from four perspectives and then claims that audio-video material application is an effective way of developing students' pragmatic knowledge and competence.
