| 摘 要： | 当今时代,高校的地方参与角色受到日益广泛的关注。作为知识型机构的高校不仅需要开展教学与研究,而且需要在其经济、社会和文化环境的发展中发挥积极作用,为地方发展做出应有贡献。高校能够在多大程度上发挥这一职能取决于高校各自的特点、高校所在地区和国家政策框架等多个条件。但最为重要的是,高校必须构建一种面向地方、参与地方的教学管理机制,才能充分发挥这一职能。本文就这一论题对西方高校面向地方教学管理机制的构建做了探析,并对我国教育行政部门和高校提出了若干建议。
