| 摘 要： | 20世纪70年代功能翻译理论开始兴起。它是从翻译的功能和目的出发,强调某一具体翻译目的要求相应的翻译策略、翻译方法,即不同的翻译目的对应不同的翻译方法;为达到某一翻译目的可以采取多种翻译方法,从而回避了诸如直译和意译的两难处境。针对英文化妆品说明书的翻译,通过大量举例分析,从目标、意图和功能三个方面阐述了功能翻译理论的指导作用。

| Abstract: | The functional translation theory came into being in 1970s.It holds any translational action is a purposeful activity and the choice of tanslation strategies and techniques should serve to fulfill the intended purpose so that the translator no longer wrestle with the dilemma between literal translation and free translation.This paper illustrates the translation of English cosmetic specifications and states the application of functional translation theory from its objectives,purposes and functions. |
