| 摘 要： | 英汉民族由于受到宗教神话、风俗习惯、地理环境等的影响,动物名称在英汉语言中存在国俗语义同异并存现象。首先用相关例子对国俗语义的五种模式作了一番阐述;其次就英汉语言文化中这些动物词所具有的比喻和象征意义进行对比;最后揭示其民族文化特征和差异,进而促进跨文化之间的语言学习和交流。

| Abstract: | Due to the influence imposed by religions,customs and geographic environment under English culture and Chinese culture respectively,the corresponding animal words of the two cultures have different national cultural connotations.This paper firstly illustrates the five patterns towards the connotations of animal words with some examples,secondly makes a contrast concerning the distinct meaning of that from the pespective of Metaphor and Symbolism,finally indicates the various characteristics and discrepancies between the two cultures,hence to promote their cross-cultural language study and conmmunication. |
