| 摘 要： | 以历史文献为依据,运用语言学方法,首次考证出“蜀”字古音义同“独”。“蜀冈”兀立,命名实源自拔起于平原的“独冈”,破解了千百年“蜀冈”得名之谜。这是语源研究一个成功范例。 |

| Abstract: | We have proved Shu" is the same as Du" in pronunciation and meaning on the basis of historical documents and linguistic methods.Therefore,the Shu Gang Ridge means the only ridge on the vast plain.Thus the enigma of the name of this ridge has been successfully solved through etymology research. |
