论荀子的“隆礼重法”思想

荀子作为我国先秦诸子中杰出的思想家和政治家,其“隆礼重法”思想开儒法合流之先河,影响极为深远。作者通过对“隆礼重法”的理论基础、礼法关系及礼德作用诸问题的研究,着重辩析了荀子提出的“礼”“法”与孔、孟、商鞅所述的“礼”“法”概念的异同,并探讨了荀子思想与前代各派思想的区别与联系,对荀子政治法律思想的内涵进行初步的探寻。

On Xun Zi's Thoughts of "Emphasizing Rituals and Law

Xun Zi,one of the brilliant minds before the Qin dynasty, pioneered in the synthesis of Confucianism and Legalist thought. His theory of "emphasizing rituals and law" is advanced and far -reaching. Through discussing such subjects as the basic theory of the thought "emphasizing rituals and law", the relationship between rituals and law, and the social functions of ritual and morals, the author made a contrast between Xun Zi's definitions of "ritual" and"law" and those of Confucius, Mencius and Shang Yang. For the purpose of studying the connotation of Xun Zi's political and legal thoughts, the author also delved into the difference and association between Xun Zi's thoughts and those of the other precursors.
