传统谱学在晚唐党争结局中的衰落

谱学属史学别支,谱系之作实为历史档案。家族谱牒是记载宗族历史、谱系的文献,起源很早,形式多样。帝王、诸侯称世本、玉牒,普通称宗谱、族谱、家谱。六朝时极为发达,居官、婚嫁均以此为主要参考,政治作用较强。晚唐宫廷政治中的朋党之争、宦官专权、藩镇割据,加速了大唐王朝的崩溃和灭亡,同时,数十年间的牛李党争之结局,使得谱学逐步衰微,后世谱牒除玉牒之外,其余均失去政治上显光的作用。

Genealogy is a branch of historiography.Its ture record forms the historical archives.Genealogy originated very early and records the family history,having different forms.The record about the monarch or the vassal says Shiben or Yudie and that about common people is called a family tree.Genealogy was very popular in Han,Wei,Jin,South and North dynasties and as reference for entering office or marriage,having strong political function.The political events,Such as faction,the arbitrary rule of castrated men and separatist regime in the late Tang Dynasty,hastened the doom of Tang.At the same time,the finality of the faction between Niu and Li resulted in the gradual decline in genealogy.From then,all but Yudie lost their political function.
