关于二语与外语、习得与学习的界定

摘    要:"二语习得"、"二语学习"、"外语学习"等概念在目前外语教学的研讨中出现频率很高,其中有不少人对"二语"与"外语"、"习得"与"学习"概念的认识有些模糊甚至相互混淆。本文根据语言在社会生活中的重要程度,获得目的语的方式及获得者所处的语言环境,对上述概念作出了相应的界定,以与外语教学及研究领域学者商榷。

Abstract:Though concepts as "second language acquisition","second language learning","foreign language learning" appear often in language teaching researches,many people do not have a clear idea of what they mean exactly.This article defines the concepts of "second language","foreign language","acquisition",and "learning".It suggests that "second language" differs from "foreign language" in the importance in a community,and "acquisition" differs from "learning" in approach of study and language environment.
