论我国的学制改革

我国现行学制存在严重问题,需要进行根本性的改革.学制改革需要遵循改革目的与改革手段相统一、既充分开发学生身心发展潜能又使学生健康发展、兼顾精英教育和大众教育、处理好继承与创新关系等基本原则.在这些原则指导下,适当提前对儿童进行文化等方面的启蒙教育,同时适当缩短受教育的年限,适当提高教育要求,比较充分地实行因材施教,以便最充分、最有效地开发我国的人才资源.

On the Reform of the School System for Our Country

There are many serious problems in the present school system of our country. So it is necessary to reform the present school system basically. However, the reform in the school system of our country should abide by the following principles. They are the principle of unity of ends and means of reform, the principle of both developing students'potentialities and making them develop healthily, the principle of giving consideration to both the elite education and the masses education and the principle of correctly dealing with the relationship of inheritance and creation etc. Under the guiding of these principles, we should appropriately move up children's enlightenment education in culture, properly shorten the years of schooling, properly raise the standard of education and fully teach students in accordance with their aptitude. Thus, we can fully and effectively develop the resources of qualified personnel in our country.
