统一战线是党的总路线和总政策的重要组成部分 ,是我国革命和建设事业取得胜利的重要法宝。高校是党外知识分子、各民主党派、知名人士集中之地 ,层次高、影响大。因此 ,必须切实加强党的领导 ,牢牢把握大团结、大联合、大统一这个主题 ,紧紧依靠和建设好党外代表人士和党内统战干部这两支队伍 ,搞好高校统战工作

Closely depending on the two teams, and trying to effectively carry out policies of united front at university

United front is a very important part of general line and policy of the Communist Party of China, and also a magic weapon for the victory in our revolution and construction course. University is a concentrated place in which intellectuals of non communists, members of various democratic parties and well known personages with a wide range of knowledge and effects gather. Therefore, we should strengthen the leadrship of the Party, closely depend on and effectively build two teams, i.e. representatives of non communists and united front cadres of the Party, for the purpose of smooth cooperation and true unity, and try our best to do a good job in this field at university.
