On the Value of the Methodology of Traditional Moral Education

Methodology of moral education is a bridge connecting the educator and the educated with what is included in it and it is a prerequisite for the attainment of the aim of moral education.Culture of moral character is the core of Chinese traditional culture formed with the development of Chinese ethics and it is rich in methodological theories of moral education,such as theory of subtle influence,theory of the Golden Mean,theory of ability-based instruction,theory of keeping mental balance,theory of practice in life,etc.It is very important to study these methodological theories so as to construct a theoretical system for the methodology of moral education,thereby improving the efficiency and the effectiveness of moral education.
