A Laurel Poet,Han Yuanji's Poetic Achievements and Influences

Han Yuanji,a poet long ignored by the academic sector,was hailed as a ＂laurel poet＂ by the people during the Southern Song Period.His poems were imbued with patriotism,impressing readers with poetic force and strong image,comparable to those ＂four great poets during Resurgence of Southern Song Dynasty：You Mao,Yang Wanli,Fan Chengda,and Lu You＂.He learned poetry from Ye Mengde,and influenced Lu You and other Resurgence poets.His poetic style,which resounds with ＂Tang Dynasty poetry＂,led the way for the return of ＂Tang Voice＂ in the poetic sector of Southern Song.
