| Abstract: | Thematic Progression(TP) patterns are of great significance in producing and comprehending texts.This paper intends to make a tentative comparison of the generality and individuality of TP patterns between English and Chinese scientific and technical texts,and it probes into the reconstruction of five common TP patterns in scientific and technical texts postulated by Yu Jianping in EC scientific and technical translation. |
