| Abstract: | An important criterion for a literary or artistic work is the unity of its sociality and aesthetic ideals. The combination of the two is firstly that of utilitarianism and aestheticism; secondly it is that of "reappearance" and "representation" and of "meaningful beauty" and "formal beauty", and finally, it is that of sociality and aestheticism. |
