| Abstract: | Cultural acquisition in English teaching is not only the objective demand of the times but also the subjective demand of the students.In order to realize the goals of strengthening the students' cultural acquisition,on one hand,teachers should play a leading role in their teaching work,by means of extending the meanings of words,situational infiltration and reading analysis;on the other hand,they should obey the teaching principles of cultural comparision,appropriateness to the students' abilities and combination of activities in and outside classroom. |
