| Abstract: | The tournament was an important activity for knights in Middle Ages of Western Europe and its origin was closely related with war. Since the twelfth century, the tournament had been keeping to be developed and changed during more then five hundred years. There must be many causes to maintain it so that the tournament had existed so long time . Then the main cause for the tournament was that the knights took an active part in it with various desires and goals. |
