徐复观历史观的基本特征

徐复观的历史观有三个基本特征:人类历史应是不断进步的,包括物质的进步和价值的升进,即人类一种向前、向上的努力,从而形成了其进步史观的基本观念;从文化视角思索人类历史的发展,发现中西历史的发展都是源自各自的文化性格,从而展现出了其文化史观的基本特征;将人的心性视为历史的源出之所,中西历史于是成为一种各偏向仁性和知性的发展,又形成了其心性史观的基本特征。
