| Abstract: | Lao Zi was first a native of Xiangxian County and then a native of Kuxian County. Although the name of his native county changed from Xiangxian County to Kuxian County, it actually refers to the same place, namely, the area under the jurisdiction of today's Luyi County of Zhoukou City in Henan Province. Those conclusions that Lao Zi was a native of Pei County or of Guoyang County are totally unfounded. |
