| Abstract: | Toni Morrison is one of the leading postmodernist writers in America.She skillfully employs postmodernist narrative techniques to create her literary 'labyrinth'.Her representative work Beloved manifests some basic features of postmodernism.The ending of the novel brings revolutionary changes to its narration and its reading.This paper aims to examine its open ending through its dazzling labyrinth of narration,leading the readers from questioning the truthfulness of the story to its real,deep meaning. |
