| Abstract: | To improve the students communicative competence in English teaching, teachers should act as guides, try their best to enliven the atmosphere of the classroom, improve teaching methods, stimulate the students participation enthusiasm in teaching English and meet the communicative needs of the students. The paper mainly deals with the current teaching status of College English and several methods to improve it. |
