中美双边外交的影响因素、特点和趋势

中美两国各自的国家利益、国内因素和世界各主要力量影响中美双边外交。冷战后国际格局的重大变化和“9.11”之后中美双边外交出现了一些新特点:战略竞争与合作关系取代了中美安全战略合作关系,美对华政策正向着一种基调积极的方向转变,经济贸易外交成为巩固两国关系的基础,反恐外交成了非常重要的一种形式,美国始终没有放弃对中国的人权外交。美中关系总的趋势是向着良好方向发展的,中国的发展不必然伴随着美国的衰落,中美各自的国家利益也不必然具有对抗性。对中国来说,在对美外交中处于被动反映的模式仍将存在。

Different national interests,national backgrounds and the influence of the world's major powers consist of the main factors that influence the bilateral relations between China and America.The international pattern has changed alot since the end of Cold War and several new features of bilateral diplomacy appear between China and U.S.A.: strategic competition and cooperation take the place of the relations of safety competition;American policies towards China isturning to a more positive side;economy and trade diplomacy become the foundations of strengthening bilateral relations;diplomacy of anti-terrorism acts as avery important form;America never gives up its human rights diplomacy towards China.Generally,Sino-American relation is growing better.China's development doesn't necessarily bring about America's decline.The national interests of bothcountries are not all contradictory.China is continuing to perform a passive reflection towards its relations with America.
