海峡两岸佛教慈善事业多视角比较

海峡两岸佛教慈善事业可从理念文化、政府政策、社会民众认同、佛教自身建设四个方面进行比较。在理念文化方面,海峡两岸皆以人间佛教思想为核心理念。在其他三方面,台湾地区因为社会经济转型先于大陆大部分地区,因而在政府政策对佛教慈善事业的支持、佛教界在推动民众对佛教慈善的认同和参与、佛教自身的慈善管理和运行机制等方面,已逐渐形成了自身独特有效的运行模式,如慈济"会员→委员→会长"的劝募模式;善款善事公开、善款专项专用、产业与管理分离的慈善管理模式等,能够有效地调动民众的捐款热情,推动佛教慈善事业的拓展。大陆佛教慈善团体则存在专业化不够、对志愿者的培训和引导不足等局限。两岸佛教慈善事业的相互交流和学习,有利于促进民间慈善和整个社会福利事业的进一步发展。

A Comparative Study of Buddhist Charity in the Chinese Mainland and Taiwan

Based on field work on Buddhist charity organizations in the Chinese Mainland and Taiwan,this paper make a comparative study of such aspects as ideas,government policy,popularity and self-construction of Buddhism on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.The paper also points out that the Buddhist charity organizations should put themselves into the whole social welfare system in order to make a better use of the resources from both government and society.
