| 摘 要： | 诗歌的艺术,主要是语言的艺术;而语言的基本单位,乃是字词.因此可以说,诗歌的艺术,乃是字词的艺术.无论实字还是虚字,其美学功能均不可小觑.诗歌的魅力主要源自诗歌的语言,而语言的魅力则主要源于选词造句.汉诗如此,英诗亦然.

| Abstract: | The art of poetry is mainly the art of language, and the basic unit of language is words. Therefore, it may be as- serted that the art of poetry is the art of words. Therefore, the aesthetic function of either notional words or functional words is not to be neglected. The appeal of poetry originates from the language of poetry, and the appeal of language comes from diction or choice of words. This is true of Chinese poetry and English poetry. |
