摘    要:分析了加德纳的多元智能理论.指出基于这一理论,大学英语教师应该更新教学理念,建立对学生的科学认识,充分了解学生的智能特点和学习方式;改革教学方法,发掘并发展学生的多种智能;同时,还要不断加强自身职业发展,强化专业知识,增强教改科研意识,做"多能化"教师,使大学英语教学成为发现差异,培养特长,树立自信的赏识教育.

Abstract:Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences believes that everyone possesses multiple intelligences.The difference of individual intelligences is due to the varied state of advancement and organization of intelligences.Based on the theory,college English teachers ought to update the teaching concept,establish the scientific knowledge about students;fully understand students' intelligent characteristics and learning methods,reform the teaching methods,excavate and develop their multiple intelligences;meanwhile,strengthen the professional development,enrich the specialized knowledge,enhance the consciousness of reform and research,with an aim to change the college English education into an appreciation education which concentrates on looking for the difference,cultivating the specialty and building the confidence.
