The Spiritual Defence in Disorder and Confusion--On the Cultural Personality of the Group of Intelligentsia in the South-West United University

The South-West United University was a model of the united university in the Anti-Japanese Invasion War.The concept ndependent university and academic freedom established on the original style of the three universities,which guaranteed the attainment of the purpose to sustain the national culture in war times.Meanwhile,as the special group of intelligentsia gathered under the certain circumstances,they were concerned with the human moral consciousness and inclined to worship liberty,which symbolized the cultural personality the intelligentsia of the academic school believing in the culture-oriented creation.
